On the weekend of April 19th, 20th, and 21st, The Lamppost Education Initiative (Lamppost) held our Second Annual Black American Muslim Conference in Atlanta, Ga at the Georgia World Congress Center.  By all accounts, this conference was a major success and provided essential building blocks for the development of our community. At this conference Muslim American scholars discussed the history, plight, perspectives, diversity, and contributions of the Black American Muslim population in North America.
