The Prophet (saws) never compromised anything in relation to the revealed law

In this moving and brief discourse, Dr. Abdullah bin Hamid ‘Ali the Founder of the Lamppost Education Initiative and a Professor of Islamic Law at Zaytuna College, explains the relationship Muslims should have with avowed enemies of Islam. With a close look at Surah Al-Mumtahanah, the Treaty of Hudaibiyah, and other sources from our Islamic tradition-Dr Abdullah explains why our notions and justifications of alignment with radical elements within the American political establishment was a colossal mistake and conflicts with our moral, Islamic principles.
This is a very important yet brief discourse that we should all listen to carefully.

What role does the IMF play in YOUR financial future? Precisely what is ‘riba’? Can we simply reduce it to ‘interest’? Are there any Islamic restrictions on ‘crypto-currency? How should we understand this in our Islamic legal framework?
Once again, the Lamppost Education Initiative aims to address key developments that impact the lives of Muslims. Join us for this rich and in-depth look at some pressing economic issues that we need to be aware of for our families and our future
