NEW BOOK RELEASE 2021:

The Muslim Funeral Guide

Dr. Abdullah bin Hamid Ali-Author of the Muslim Funeral Guide

The Lamppost Education Initiative is pleased to announce our second edition of the Muslim Funeral Guide. This unique guide provides critical information about how Islam views death and dying and how our funeral rites are connected to this Islamic outlook. This book guides Muslims and Non-Muslims through the process of death, the washing and shrouding of the body, the Janazah prayer, and the burial. In addition, the author of this work, Dr. Abdullah bin Hamid Ali, provides some beautiful gems straightforwardly explaining Islamic funerals.
What makes this work truly unique from other works on Janazah are the explanations provided for Non-Muslim friends and family members. In addition, this work contains a Question and Answer section for Non-Muslims. Thus, this book serves as an easy-to-read guide for Muslims with non-Muslim family members and friends. The work also contains a will that Muslims can use to ensure that their burial rights are secured and buried by Islamic rites. Listen to this brief video from Dr. Abdullah bin Hamid Ali on this work.
