About the Book
The Uncrucified Christ explores one of the most consequential questions in Christian–Muslim dialogue: Was Jesus of Nazareth crucified, and can the Qur’an’s account of his fate be defended on historical grounds?
Drawing upon biblical scholarship, early Christian history, and Qur’anic interpretation, Dr. Ali Ataie offers a detailed examination of the evidence surrounding the crucifixion. Rather than treating the question as a matter of faith alone, he investigates the historical plausibility of the Qur’an’s account and challenges readers to reconsider long-standing assumptions about Jesus of Nazareth.
Featuring an Introduction by Dr. Khalid Yahya Blankinship and a Publisher’s Preface by Dr. Abdullah bin Hamid Ali, this work contributes to an important scholarly conversation about history, scripture, and the relationship between Christianity and Islam.
